So this year he made it despite the questionable stewards decisions earlier in the season. I can't help but feel for Massa who drove a superb race. It really was a cliffhanger!! Sad that we won't be seeing Coulthard again. Glad coverage is going back to BBC!
Either Massa or Hamilton would have deserved the championship; if I wasn't British I don't know who I would have supported. But it was a fantastic race; surely one of the most nail-biting elements to a sports championship ever. At least there's no word of any new steward's enquiry - Raikonnen had to wait about six weeks to be confirmed last year.
After a few years of being bored to tears with F1, I have to admit to being on the edge of my seat yesterday. The only question is whether Glock was "asked" to give way. I feel sorry for Massa, and his family, because they thought they had it for a few seconds at the end. The real sad note to this season has to be the way that some "fans" have behaved towards Hamilton. The racism, evident on F1 forums, and even yesterday, where booing could be heard amongst the stands, is disgraceful. I a no fan of Hamilton as a driver, but to behave in such a way is a stain on all the decent fans and on F1 itself.
Good on him. Only caught it on the news so am surprised and appalled at what you've come across, Kyt. Truly odd and a sign some people just don't get it.
I switched off after the race so was unaware of this latest incident. How deplorable - shame on them!!!
