Hi to all on my dads discharge certificate is says M E F 2 10 40 19 6 42 P O W 20 6 42 14 5 45 what does MEF stand for please and in the Royal Artillery I assume a GNR was a private. cheers steve
GNR is a Gunner = Private as you said. As to MEF I really cannot say. Am sure one of the boys will be along later to tell you.
