It's called the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum. Location is near Savannah at the Pooler, GA exit of I95. I learned so much at this place, that I think anyone with the opportunity should try to spend some time there. (Can't miss it because of the huge WWII plane sitting along I95.) Just a few of the areas in the museum that will thrill WWII historians and history lovers: First, there are planes hanging overhead. There are American and German bombers with the artwork painted on them. There's a model/diorama of an air field. There are smaller model planes to explore. Reproductions, too... there was one of a prisoner of war camp and another reproduction of a typical home from the 1940s. I wasn't able to stop my last few times through Savannah, but when I was there last about 3 years ago, there was also a 40s British Pub in the museum. (Serving food... that one's not a reproduction!)
