Yves Du Manoir Aug. 11 1904 - Jan. 2 1928 Rugby player, Aviator. Born of noble origins, Yves Frantz Marie Pelly’s parents were a Viscount and Viscountess. He excelled in many sports but is most renowned for his skill at Rugby. He died in a military flight training accident while piloting a Caudron 59 aircraft. The Stade Yves Du Manoir in the Paris suburb of Colombes was named in his honor.
