Thanks Peter. Starting with very little information, I have, over the last few years, built up a picture of the circumstances of my uncle's passing on 14-1-1944. Sgt.E.A.Lane was a Flight Engineer on ND423 on a mission over Hannover that was unfortunately lost over the village of Uepsen, Germany. Hoping to talk to relatives/descendants of other members of the crew on this forum. Kind rgds.
