    Always, DL, as it's the anniversary of the Gallipoli landings. National holiday too.

    In America they have "Veterans Day" which is November 11th. This is a holiday for government employees but not for the general public. Unfortunately in the U.K. they have no national holiday to recognise veterans sacrifices.

    We recognise Nov 11 as Rememberance Day and there are services at 11am of course. Not a national holiday though.

    Well Owen, as the boys say to me, she must get her looks from her mother.

    Great to see kids marching for their grand dad.
