His were bent a little on most of the photos I have seen. I talk with a guy who actually photographed 23,000 graves in one of the Malaysian CWG cemeteries amongst many others. I can only imagine the stress to the knees and the wrists and the back and the ankles............................... Cheers Geoff
Hi Spoons, Good to hear from you again. My requirements for WW1 & WW2 are complete in Scotland thanks to you and many others however I am sure there will be a request from others. Cheers Geoff

The AIF Project; Australian ANZACs in the First World War. http:www.aif.adfa.edu.au:8080/index.html Quote{Its major activity is the construction of a database that draws on a wide range of sources to provide details on the 330,000 men and women who served overseas in the (First) Australian Imperial Force, 1914-1918.}End Quote I stumbled upon this site not long ago it has basically all available information on the majority of Aussie military persons during WW1. Much of the information can be found in dribs and drabs on various other web sites. However with this site as much information as is available on each individual soldier has been placed in the one FREE site. Though it is still an on going project you will find much information on Australian individuals in the one site. I post this to offer a sample of some work that may be similar to the bodies of work being undertaken by members of this forum. It is for the possible interest of these and other members who are working on a variety of projects. I hope the information on this site may give some new ideas or help members find information they need. Again it gives a example of some work allready done and may be of some interest to certain members.
I've got most of the graves photographed in the area I volunteered for so it will just be a case of sending them on when I get the list (hopefully)
I'll give his arse a kick when he gets out of the shower. he may be some time whilst he works out if the wrinkles are caused by age or excessive exposure to hot water :>
I am a regular user of the ADFA website as I am doing my family history, but I also check with the NAA website as the ADFA does not have all soldiers names as yet. Regards John
Hi Spoons, Can't seem to find the list for Dumfries and Galloway, would it be possible to send me what you have at present and i will see if i have the list on another cd up in the attic. Thanks Sniper
think he can do Oxfordshire as well to save me the hassle of being dragged around how many graveyards is it? I know i volunteered to re-photo all of runnymede for you. Again. But i am seriously thinking of drawing the line at doing Brookwood.
There is only 42 cemeteries left to do in Oxfordshire Kitty and most of them have only one or two in them. And you don't have tro come if you don't want to, you can stay at home and let your ears be pounded by Evelyn. You don't have to do anything at Brookwood either, you can sit in the car and look your pretty self or just take a walk through the beauiful grounds there.
Brookwood Memorial Completed and named. Anyone wishing photos from this memorial please put a message on this thread. Sniper
Benson completed today, Kitty only another 41 cemeteries in Oxfordshire to go now and then we start on Berkshire, haha. Sniper
Well done you two. Keep up the good work. I drove a 1,000 miles a couple of weeks ago to do some outstanding out of the way cemeteries to nearly complete my requirements in Victoria. The furthest was Mildura where there were 60 burials. When I went to catalgue them, (7) of them, the headstones were white and the writing could not be read. Should hsave checked them before I left the cemetery. Lesson learnt. The one I mucked up is 350miles away. Cheers Geoff
