Hi Paul and Anne, As you know I am collecting headstone/memorial photos of all those Aussies who died in the RAAF/RAF which will "eventually" be placed on a website for anyone to use "Free of charge". Would you mind if I used the photos of Leo when the site finally comes to fruition. Cheers Geoff .
Hi Geoff No problems at all. Our family has already benefitted from a similar resource as yours for infantry in WW1. Anything we could do to support it we will. We went to Reichswald Forest Cemetery in 2005 - so moving, so serene and so well kept by the CWGC and staff. Unfortunately at that time we didnt get to Rheinberg Cemetery where the other crew members rest. Its on our to do list. Thanks for all the info and advice you and your mates dish out on this site. For beginners like us its gold. Good luck with the project. Cheers Anne and Paul
PS In the photograph of the crew, they are identified on the reverse side, from left to right, as Back: P.O. John Miles, Leo McCartin, F.O.Len Martin, F.Sgt P Smith Front: Gunner John Gray, 2nd Pilot ? Bryer, Fgt Engineer Bill Warlow
