It was interesting and Quebec City and Montreal are fascinating cities - lots of history. The only roads north of where we "lived" are dirt and the interconnecting lakes were wonderful. We didn't really have a lot of time to explore and I was only 12 so not really walking around aware of a lot of things. It was fun but that whole period was as we didn't go to school for four months.
