Tried that! Pointed out to Motorola that I had been a Quality Auditor in Distribution Stores at the Bathgate plane where they boxed up the phones ans that either wrong part had been ordered or that the supplier had put the wrong disk in the wrong pack. When I worked for the Technical Department of Mimtec who built IBM computers, we had a case where a load of test CDs, they were only used coming out, which was part of the bundle which came with the PCs were not working, they put one into CD player and out came Emerson, Lake and Palmers version Of Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" and not test data! So, it has happened before!

    Cheeky sods.

RANT: Lost my wallet in Sainsburys - I hadn't even noticed until...
...RAVE: A very nice bloke found it and ran after me to return it.

I remember when I dropped my wallet in Norwich. I received a note that it had been handed in to the local police station.

What had been handed in, was the contents of the wallet, minus a grout and a 50 pence St hellena note! The bar stewart took the wallet as well!

RAVE: Gotta love these four day weekends.

RANT: After shifting 10 tonne of mulch, soil and gravel in the past two days by hand and getting the garden looking tops as we might be selling soon, discovered the next door kids playing football in the street and tearing through our garden to get the ball. Yelling is not sufficient, the time has come to set the lawnmower on fire and push it in their general direction.

Rant! My bookcase which I got from IKEA finally collapsed into a heap of books and wood! So instead of enjoying myself today, I have to get two more bookcases!

Didn't that happen last year as well?

That happened last year as well, but this time it was fatal, can't repair it! But saw some lovely big and wide bokcases on the Argos website, only 35gbp each, so will be getting three! Means I will have plenty of space for my expanding collection!

The Argos ones are good. I have a few (wish I had room for more). Better value for money than IKEA's and easy to put together (well, if I could do it then anyone can).

I tried two different Argos shops and you have t order them from the website! So, I will have to be around to have them delivered!

In addition, my washer dryer went kaput on me yesterday! I know how to fix it, its very simple just replace the program control module, but cant get the spare parts! S, will have to get a new one and in the meantime will have to use the laundrymat about a mile and half away!

Better still, I got a phone call from my supplier of lucky white heather, due t a fire at his warehouse, he cant delivery any!

Even worse I cant find my enchanted monkeys paw!

But here is a photo of the damage to the bookcases! I had to use my webcam.

Morse you should be able to ring, order, and have them delivered to your local store. I think you then have three days to collect at your convenience.

I have now seen that you can reserve and collect, so I can do that on Wednesday when I have the day off!

Goodness Morse, I hope no books were damaged in the making of that photo! Btw, congrats on passing through 800 posts!

With our impending move to Melbourne and moving into the house that our tenants have just vacated, it occurred to me there's quite a nice little sitting room halfway down the hallway that should be able to fit my shelving quite nicely. We haven't even started packing and I'm planning where to put the books!

I have often thought of packing up and going somewhere else in order to find a better job! But, as I have over 3250 books, I would need a very large vehicle to move them all!
