    Going back to the picture, is that a Mercedes three-pointed star in the middle of the cylindrical object? Is he assembling some kind of engine component?

    I don't know what it's called Adrian .... but it's 1918 and he's spraying the streets with disinfectant because of the Spanish Flu !!

    I have to say .. I can't believe it was very effective !

    Tanks were a British invention .... but what famous leader was mainly in charge of developing them ?

    Why and when would you find a steel back in the dunes?

    And yes! you were right ( as always !! ) the "tank" was developed while he was still First Lord of the Admiralty ( just a little bit of added interest there !! ) :D

    Don't suppose you know an RE called Plant Pilot? Brothers perhaps? He was just as obtuse. Hmm not a tank, not quite a knife. Steel back... the cooking stove?

    right a Steel Chest was a hardened solider, so is a Steel Back a solider who was good at doing a runner?
