What caused the War of 1812?

Everyone in their right mind is a socialist at heart some more than others ! But this has nothing to do with 1812..................................

 

So, perhaps then, in my usual excitement related to progressive change, I'm over-extending his message? Or is he about more than just socialism? Perhaps my media filters need readjusting, then? I think he is learning more each day about what's really going on and it seems to be affecting him enough to make him more and more vocal and generating quite a lot of support.

Either way, you're right... if I'm not talking about America in 1812 or thereabouts, I'll be silent for the remainder of this thread and will leave it to the moderator to delete anything not specifically related to the War of 1812.
